Relovia Recruitment was founded by Courtney Jacob following years of working closely with fire protection, construction, and building services professionals across the UK, USA, and UAE.

During that time, Courtney saw first-hand how critical competence, qualifications, and compliance are on regulated construction projects and how often recruitment decisions failed to reflect that reality. Too many roles were filled based on availability, rather than a genuine understanding of standards, site conditions, and what good looks like in practice.

Through ongoing CPD and industry involvement, including engagement with organisations such as the Association for Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP), the Institute of Acoustics (IOA), and CIBSE, Courtney developed a recruitment approach grounded in technical understanding rather than volume hiring.

Relovia was created to bring that perspective into recruitment supporting contractors, consultancies, and engineering teams who operate in compliance-critical environments and need people who can deliver from day one.

Today, Relovia Recruitment works across fire protection, construction, and building services roles, helping clients in the UK and international markets build teams based on competence, experience, and standards, not just CVs.’
