We are working with a leading UK crane hire and heavy lifting specialist operating nationally and
internationally across major construction, infrastructure, energy, and industrial projects. The business
operates a large, modern fleet of mobile, crawler, and heavy lift cranes, delivering engineered lifting
solutions and contract lifting services across the UK.

Reporting To
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Regional / Commercial Director
• Develop and manage key contractor, developer, and infrastructure client relationships
• Identify and secure new crane hire and heavy lift opportunities within the region
• Promote crane hire, contract lifting, and engineered lifting solutions
• Generate leads through site visits, project tracking, and relationship building
Account Management
• Act as the primary commercial contact for assigned accounts
• Maintain long term relationships with Tier 1 & Tier 2 contractors and specialist subcontractors
• Support repeat business through proactive engagement and service oversight
Project & Technical Liaison
• Work closely with lifting operations, engineering, and planning teams
• Support lift feasibility discussions and early engagement on complex projects
• Ensure commercial solutions align with operational capability and safety requirements

Candidate Profile
Essential
• Proven experience selling crane hire, heavy lifting, or specialist construction services
• Experience as an Area Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, or Business Development Manager
• Strong commercial and consultative sales approach
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable
• Experience with large or complex lifting projects
• Knowledge of mobile cranes, crawler cranes, or heavy lift operations
• Experience working with Tier 1 contractors or major infrastructure projects
